Lithium-ion motorcycle battery has increasingly replaced lead-acid batteries due to its light weight, long life and stable performance. For wholesale buyers, it is very important to understand common battery specifications, which not only affects the adaptability of the motorcycle, but also directly affects inventory management and customer satisfaction.
1. Voltage specifications
There are two common nominal voltages for lithium-ion batteries used in motorcycles:
12V (actual voltage is around 12.8V)
The most common motorcycle battery voltage is suitable for most general-purpose models.
6V (actual voltage is around 6.4V)
It is suitable for some old models or small-displacement models, and the market demand is relatively small.
2. Capacity (Ah) specifications
Capacity determines the battery life and startup performance. Common ones include:
4Ah ~ 5Ah: Suitable for small-displacement motorcycles (such as below 125cc)
6Ah ~ 7Ah: Suitable for medium-displacement models
8Ah ~ 12Ah: Suitable for large-displacement motorcycles, off-road vehicles, etc.
12Ah or above: high performance, modified vehicle

3. Dimensions
The battery compartment sizes of different models are different, and the battery size must be matched before it can be installed. Common ones are:
113×70×85 mm (common small battery size)
150×87×93 mm (common medium specifications)
175×87×130 mm (large capacity model)
4. Cold start current (CCA)
CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) represents the starting capability of a battery at low temperatures, with a common range of 120A to 300A.
Small displacement car: 120A ~ 150A
Medium displacement vehicle: 150A ~ 200A
Large displacement vehicle: above 200A
5. Common models
In Lithium-ion motorcycle battery, some models are universal and require a lot of demand, such as:
YTX4L-BS
YTX5L-BS
YTX7A-BS
YTX9-BS
YTX12-BS
YTX14-BS
