Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery and try to operate it within the optimal range. It is advisable to keep the battery inactive for some time, partially charged 50% to 70%, and in a cold environment to minimize degradation that results from storage conditions.

A battery management system (BMS) should be used to monitor the charging and discharging of the battery in real time. It can also check on parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature to prevent some failures.

Replace Old Batteries When Needed

Most lithium batteries start to degrade their performance after 300 to 500 charge and discharge cycles, and replacing old batteries at the right time can prevent explosions.
