When your car suddenly runs out of power and won't start, a portable emergency car battery jump starter comes in handy. It can help you restart your car in a few minutes. Today I'm going to teach you how to use a car jump starter correctly and safely.
1. Preparation
Before you start, check these:
Battery power
Confirm that your starting power supply has enough power, which generally needs to be kept above 50%.
Turn off the vehicle's electrical appliances
Turn off the air conditioner, radio, headlights, etc. in the car.
Check the clamps
Check whether the positive and negative clamps are clean and free of rust or stains.
2. Connect the car jump starter correctly
Find the car battery
Usually in the engine compartment, you can see it by opening the hood.
Connect the red clamp
Clamp the red positive clamp to the positive terminal of the battery (marked with "+").
Connect the black clamp
Clamp the black negative clamp to the negative terminal of the battery (marked with "-").

3. Start the car
Check the connection
Make sure the clips are all tight and not loose.
Turn on the starting power
Press the power switch.
Start the vehicle
Get into the driver's seat and ignite once. If the start fails, wait a few seconds and try again.
Do not ignite more than 3 times in a row, and try again after about 30 seconds.
4. Disconnect the starting power
The disconnection order is the opposite of the connection:
First remove the black clip.
Then remove the red clip.
Put away the starting power and close the hood.
The portable emergency car battery jump starter is not difficult to use. Just follow the steps and you can easily solve the problem of your car running out of power. Develop the habit of checking and charging at ordinary times, which will come in handy at critical moments.
